Alexander I. Bobenko

Alexander I. Bobenko (b. 1960 in Leningrad, Russia) is in the Mathematisches Institut of the Technische Universität, Berlin, Germany.

Bobenko’s books are Algebro-geometric Approach to Nonlinear Integrable Problems (with E. D. Belokolos, V. Z. Enol’skii, A. R. Its, and V. B. Matveev), published by Springer in 1994, Painlevé Equations in the Differential Geometry of Surfaces (with U. Eitner), published by Springer in 2000, and Discrete Differential Geometry: Integrable Structure (with Y. B. Suris), published by the American Mathematical Society in 2008. He is also coeditor of Discrete Integrable Geometry and Physics (with R. Seiler), published by Oxford University Press in 1999, and Discrete Differential Geometry (with P. Schröder, J. M. Sullivan, and G. M. Ziegler), published by Birkhäuser in 2008.

Bobenko served as a Validator for the original release and publication in May 2010 of the NIST Digital Library of Mathematical Functions and the NIST Handbook of Mathematical Functions.
